super rough recording of a new song

on sunday, al and justin came over and we played a bunch of songs they'd never heard before. this is one of them, called "pissing off all the right people". we played it a few times so they could get the basic structure, then i hit record. this was recorded about 15 minutes after they'd first heard the song. i like their parts a lot, and i feel like i haven't posted enough stuff lately, so here you go.

this will be on the tape we put out this fall.

we're going to put out a CDR, a 7", and a tape, all with different songs, about 25 total, this fall sometime. we'll also have a flash drive with everything i've ever recorded on it (high diving ponies, spidermums, bodisartha, etc).

all 25 high diving ponies songs will be released in 320k mp3 and flac lossless formats.

the last few weeks have been really awesome.

chomp womp soda fest was great.
thanks to everyone who played, promoted,
hosted, helped in any way.
total lurv.

minneapolis was super amazing too.
i threw up SO MUCH.
washed the hangover away in a lake.

thanks to brian, the bands we played with,
and the lovely people who let us
crash in their apartment
and led us into a lake.

we've got lots of new songs,
but we haven't had time to record them yet.

al will be in mexico for about a month.
there will be more shows in august.
probably another soda fest this fall.
maybe a finished full length this fall too.
who knows? not me.
